Adagio es una banda francesa que tiene sus bases en el progressive metal, en donde la referencia más cercana al grupo es Symphony X, aunque Adagio se guÃa más por lo clásico, desde el Barroco hasta compositores contemporáneos, y en sus últimos trabajos se ha mezclado su estilo con voces guturales y baterÃas más rápidas.
