Anthrax es una banda estadounidense de thrash metal, formada en Nueva York en 1981, por el guitarrista Scott Ian y el bajista Dan Lilker.2 Está considerado como uno de los grupos principales de la escena thrash junto a Metallica, Megadeth y Slayer.3 4 Hacia 2015 el conjunto ha publicado diez álbumes de estudio y numerosos sencillos,5 entre ellos, uno grabado con la agrupación de hip hop Public Enemy.6 Entre 1991 y 2004, la banda vendió 3'5 millones de copias únicamente en los Estados Unidos desde y 10 millones en todo el mundo hacia 2008
